Entrance to Brazil


Brazilian Visa may be required for some country.  Plan travel early and obtain Entry Visa in addition to your passport.  For some countries visiting Brazil, yellow fever international certificate is also necessary.
 

VISA

It is possible to enter and remain in Brazil for a specific period of time without a visa as long as the visitor’s passport is valid. Please check with Brazilian embassies before leaving your country.  For some countries, visa is required for entrance to Brazil.  It is recommended that your passport has a minimum validity of 6 (six) months prior to arrival date and at least two blank pages available upon request.

IMMUNIZATON AGAINST YELLOW FEVER

To enter Brazil, it is necessary the international certificate against Yellow Fever, only for those who in the previous three months were visiting or are coming from the following countries: Angola, Benin, Bolivia, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Colombia, Ecuador, Gabon, Gambia, Gana, Guinea Bissau, French Guyana, Liberia, Nigeria, Peru, Congo, Serra Leoa, Sudan, Venezuela and Zaire.

The immunization against yellow fever is also recommended for all those tourists, Brazilians or foreigners, who intend to visit the following Brazilian States: Acre, Amazonas, Amapá, Federal District, Goiás, Maranhão, Mato Grosso do Sul, Pará, Rondônia, Roraima and Tocantins.

It is important to get your immunization with a minimum of 10 days before your departure.
